SCANdalous Bribery & The Boring Fine Print

You know all that fine print posted with every Etsy listing in my shop that blurs into 'blah-blah-blah' when you're reading an item description?
I don't like the blah-blah stuff any more than you do because it takes up too much room on my shop home page and in my item descriptions. I find myself repeating myself a gazillion times and pretty soon, I'm tuning myself out. So how do I expect you to be listening either?!
But plain and simple there are two very important things you need to know:

1)How to get free scans
and
2)Terms of use

FREE SCANS: SCANdalous Bribery and Referrals!
SCANdalous Bribery is my ongoing wholesale promotion. With a minimum $30 order, you get 3 free scans, $3.99 or under. Whether you buy scans or something from my Paris Flea Market (original postcards, ephemera, perfume labels, etc.), as long as your total comes to at least $30, you can claim 3 free scans.

REFERRALS Refer a friend to my shop and get free scans. When they put in their order, tell them that under 'message from buyer' they need to let me know that they heard about my shop from you! Then I'll get in touch with you and get your freebie(s) sent to you. If they buy one scan, you get ONE free scan. If they spend $30 and get 3 free scans as part of my SCANdalous Bribery offer, then YOU get 3 free scans. If I'm having a special sale, whatever the freebie promotion is -- I'll match whatever your friend gets in freebies.

PROFESSIONAL OR Hobbyist: If any of my images are used in an art magazine submission, please credit FrenchKissed as the source of your image! Email me a copy/scan of the published article showing the FrenchKissed credit and I will give you 3 FREE digital scans, $3.99 or under!

TERMS OF USE (or Giving Credit Where Credit is Due:)
First of all, please note that full size, original postcard/ephemera scans are offered for graphic artists and resellers. Collage sheets are for amateur/hobbyist artists ONLY. However, hobby artists can purchase the individual postcard scans also.

Individual, original postcard/ephemera scans: You are purchasing a limited-use commercial license giving you the right to
1)PRINT this image "as is" for resell on tags, greeting cards and other individual pieces of ephemera.
2) RESELL this image in a DIGITAL format if ALTERED into your own work of art. This image cannot be resold digitally "as is."
Using these images in print or digital on college sheets is not permitted.

In either case -- digital or printed -- please give FrenchKissed credit as the source of the original image. In your item description or your own TOU, whereever, please credit FrenchKissed www.frenchkissedpostcards.blogspot.com as the source of your image.
Since many of my scans are truly one-of-a-kind, giving me credit as the source is a small thing to ask.
I will be happy to swap links with you and let my customers know about your ready-made, ready-to-give product.

COLLAGE Sheets: Are for non-professional/hobbyist artists ONLY. With the purchase of a collage or digi-sheet, you are buying a limited-use license. Unlike my individual, full-size postcard scans, this collage sheet is not intended for resell in any format, digitally or printed, altered or not.
These images are for your personal use only, to use in ATC swaps or art challenges.

IF you're still reading and you got this far, merci beaucoup! YOUR time is valuable. I appreciate you using it to read all this 'blah-blah' fine print. Email me and I'll send you a free scan of the Eiffel Tower postcard you see on this post!

Trishia, you are too funny! I was reading along ... and then had to keep from falling out of the chair when I read the part, "hey, cheapskates need friends, too" Indeed, there are THOSE out there!

Wishing you a sun-filled weekend! Isn't today just GORGEOUS!!! :)))

Hey, I don't mind the blah blah blah. You worked hard for those cards. I would love that eiffel tower, it so unique, the color is superb!

Yes, I know, I so owe you an email reply....I'm still catching up.

Regarding the Blah Blah Blah Policy - if others would think about the Blah Blah as Borrow Borrow instead maybe it would clear things up. If someone 'borrows' your beautiful evening gown and then turns around and rents it out - well, that is just wrong. Same thing applies to the images. If you borrow them to use yourself that is fine. But, if you sell them well that is just plain old nasty rude.

I hope your arm continues behaving nicely and heals up quick, quick, quick. :-) Your Blah, blah, blah was the nicest of it's kind I've ever read anywhere. Thanks!

P.S. being new here, how does one go about getting the cool picture next to their comments? I'm a total noob.
