any requests?

a big MERCI BEAUCOUP for all the well wishes and sympathy! it was a week ago yesterday that i fell and broke my arm. i'm already off pain killers, going on 3 days now. and today i noticed i could brush my teeth and lean forward over the sink without totally drooling down my chest ... so progress is being made! i don't have to sleep sitting straight up either! but the simplist of tasks is a major feat. it takes the hubby more time to bag and tape my arm so i can shower than it actually takes me to shower....:) a bulky splint does not make for good ergonomics, so being at the computer exacerbates my neck pain ... and when i can't work on my postcards...eeerrgghhh!:) BUT the sun is out and we have clear skies. a perfect way to start the weekend even if the rain does come later as forecasted, it's beautiful now. i'm working hard to count my blessings and realize this is all just an inconvience. so i just wanted to drop by and  wish you a happy weekend of art and rejuvenation, too! see you monday with a new freebie. any requests? any suggestions? script, pretty lady, birds, valentine or easter themed, paris scene??
i aim to please -- and it would really help my monday morning indecision:)

So glad you are feeling better. Injuries can sometimes bummed us out. But it sounds as if you are making progress. Hmmm... I am always for a Paris scene. :) Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for letting us know you are doing better. I know all about that taping and plastic covering bit so you can shower, but oh doesn't that shower feel good???
Nothing specific.. just like the surprise on Monday's.

Owwww, neck pain is the pits! I’m glad, though, you are feeling better and managing some tasks. The plastic taping, etc, is enormously irritating. Are you living in slip-on shoes and elastic waisted pants? I had to do that for a while and I started to feel like a frump, I was overjoyed to get back to using zippers and laces (just like a grown-up, tee hee)!

I’m interested in something with... let’s see, how about a bicycle? Or ice skating?

OOOH script please ;-) You always seem to find such beautiful ones - and I love looking at unique handwriting so much!!!

Glad to hear you're on the mend albeit slow and time consuming! Sending you big hugs (but no arm wrestles)! x

I am glad your doing better :) It takes time but soon all of this will be a memory.

And now to throw another one into the pot and risk having you pull out your hair and wish you hadn't asked, lol....I have decided I am in love with any children's pictures, but it's all good!

I haven't broken my arm but I had carpel tunnel surgery done on both arms. One arm at a time. Quite inconvenient. I'm so happy that you're getting better! It's so nice of you to give us a freebie when you're having such a time of it. Thank you!

Hugs XX

Oh Trishia!
I just learned of your latest adventure. I'm so sorry to hear you broke your arm. You sound like your on the road to a speedy recovery so that's good. I've been busy doing a home improvement project and I haven't had time to visit blog-land or do any crafting.
I would love a Valentine as I'm itching to make a few of those cards. Get well!

Oh you poor dear! I was thinking of you and all of your construction woes the other day as we drove to Multnomah Falls. And now no heat and this! I hope you are feeling better very soon.

Trishia,

Hope you are feeling better. Sorry to read of your injury. Have a quick healing. We need you!

1) Saw "Hugo" yesterday...magnifique. Loved every moment, as each frame looked like a French postcard. It was incredible.

2) My humble request: un chat. I am a hardcore cat person and would love a Parisien chat. Merci!

Feel better,
Lili
