FrenchKissed contests: "Love Me Two Challenge" and "Kissed Again!"

"Love Me Two" challenge.
I promise it will be a contest with twice as much fun:)
Contest details/where to mail:
Using any of the 13 "Under-loved"* images posted last week, create an ATC, a gift tag, a greeting card, journal page, postcard -- whatever you wanna make. Make TWO OF THEM. Your two entries can be identical or different; two versions of the same image or two different images. Mail both to me -- Trishia Jacobs, PO Box 1217, Hood River, Oregon, USA 97031 -- and you'll be entered into the "Love Me Two!" contest. The deadline for entry will be Tuesday, March 13.
*Posts on Feb. 13 , Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 have all 13 "under-loved" images you can choose from. Feb. 14 post also shows the prizes to be awarded to top three contestants.

"Kissed Again!"
Take any FrenchKissed digital scan (free download or a scan you have purchased) and make something with it! You can be entered in the contest one of three ways:
1) Post item you've made with FrenchKissed images on Flickr in the FrenchKissed group.
2) If you have a blog, write a tutorial about how you made it.
3) Email me a picture of it and I'll post it for you!
My goal: I would love to have an inspiring example of what to make/how to use EACH digital scan listed in my shops!
More details and THE prize to come.....Stay tuned and start creating:) I can tell you that the deadline entry will be March 31. So you still have time to wait and use one of the 29 (and counting) freebies that will be posted this month.

I Saw the Light -- Lighthouse, that is!

Can you tell that my mind is on summer and I'm longing for warm, sunshine days at the beach?! I love the script on this image and I love the design. But in my perfect world, I kept thinking that I would prefer something in the center instead of a lighthouse. Not sure what, but something... However, the more I ruminated on it, I concluded that what was "wrong" with the blue black color of the lighthouse. So, I played with a couple of sepia versions and liked them much better. However, when I went back and created a 'dreamy' version, I really liked the black lighthouse. As usual, before I knew it, I was swimming in an ocean of options:)
And the more I thought of summer, it dawned on me that this would make a perfect cover for a summer journal. So...back to the drawing board, or more literally, back to the back of another postcard, an advertisement from a library. I excerpted my favorite phrases and I figured you'd especially like labeling your journal as "the biggest success of the century"!:)

As I played with my lighthouse images, I realized that I've been in this business for so long, but I'm still not sure what YOU prefer: collage sheets with multiple items in a smaller size OR one copy of your favorite image in original antique postcard size? So.... I think I'm gonna put a little poll up on my blog. I haven't done that in quite awhile. I'll look forward to seeing your preferences tally up!

Also, a Merci Beaucoup to those who have "liked" and visited my Facebook page. I'm really liking it on the side of my blog. I think of it as a little conversation snippet for you. Little tidbits I wanna share.

And now, I have the most encouraging news for you to begin your fun weekend. I was in an email exchange with a French postcard seller who told me that she uses the money from her postcard sales toward nursing home costs for her 101-year-old mother! I said, "Please tell me that the secret to your mother's longevity is wine and chocolate." She replied, "You are surely right talking of chocolate and
wine for my mother! Of course, she drank 2 glasses of wine every day!!!"
TWO glasses every day:) Happy weekend!

I haven't answered your poll yet... you need another option: ALL of the above!!! Love the postcard and what you've done with it. One of my favorite pieces of artwork is a lighthouse, on the coast of Oregon, purchased on the coast of Oregon. A watercolor with beautiful matwork with smaller lighthouses on it.
