Fellow bloggers: please feel free to link to this post and tell your readers about this giveaway. Merci beaucoup!
Well, I figured out why I've been procrastinating on posting the prizes! I hate this part, that's why!ha!
I'm one of these people for whom everything is a judgement call carrying lots of baggage. I have issues with making things simple, thoroughly engulfed in indecision as to what other folks value, what is considered fair...and so on and so on. And I simply do not have a knack for making things so frou-frou pretty. (Rhonda, I need you!:)
There are two categories and three winners in each category in the KISSED AGAIN! contest.
One category is for Mini-Projects.
ATCs, gift tags, greeting cards, etc. Flat paper or fabric projects.
The second category is for 3-D Projects.
Anything with depth and dimension. Such as decoupaged boxes, altered cigar box, inverted canvas and such.
Each category will have a
1) People's Choice Award First Place [determined by your votes]
2) Trishia's Perogative Second Place
3) Random Number Generator Third Place
HOW TO ENTER: Email me [frenchkissedpostcards at gmail dot com] photo(s) of your project with a paragraph about how you made it. Even if you post on your blog or on Flickr, please email me pics directly to make things simple for me.
Your project can feature any FrenchKissed image. Your entry can be any project made since January 2012.
When you email me, include a Random Number between 1 and 100. Entries will be accepted through March 31.
First Place Prize in 3-D Category: A vintage Paris souvenir book

9 Retro "pull out" photos, accordian-style, of Paris monuments. The book is 8 by 5.5 inches. The spine is 1/2 inch thick. This would be the piece de resistance to create your own altered journal about your trip to France or just all things French that you love! I'm guessing this book is from the 1940s. I'll double check on that....

That being said, the purpose behind the KISSED AGAIN! contest (in other words, what's in it for me! ha!) is that I'm looking to garner lots of samples-examples of inspiration for my customers so they can easily see what can be made using FrenchKissed digital scans. I'm inviting artists to blog a tutorial, post on Flickr or email me directly with photos of a FrenchKissed project. Your entry into the contest expresses your consent to let me use any pictures of what you've created with my FrenchKissed listings in my shops on Etsy, Zibbet or whereever else I may open a store. Here's a perfect example courtesy of Wendee Deal. With the listing for the digital scan of the Road Trip lady, I have these two photos showing the 3-D card that Wendee made.
And I introduce the listing with this paragraph:
INSPIRATION idea: Print 4 copies of the scan. Adhere one copy to the front of a blank greeting card. With the other copies, cut out parts of the woman and layer them onto her with pop dots, as you can see from the side view photo. Wendee added a Martha Stewart punched border to the bottom of the card and a quote inside.
I guess you could think of the KISSED AGAIN! contest as a FrenchKissed Pinterest board:)hehehe
But I'll use the photos of your creation only as inspiration and not to resell (unlike Pinterest.)

Second Place Prize in 3-D Category: A surprise bundle of a dozen antique French postcards. I'll confer with the winner as to preferences (Paris street scenes or babies? Mix of fashion and illustrations?) I guarantee they will be top quality.

Third Place Prize for 3-D Category: $35 FrenchKissed Gift Certificate
MINI-PROJECT First Place Prize: 12 Antique and Vintage postcards

Embossed, glitter, embroidered -- a truly tactile treasurey including a 100-year old dried leaf:) I like to think of these as ATCs from Yesteryear.

Mini-Project Second Place: $25 FrenchKissed Gift Certificate
Mini-Project Third Place: A copy of my book of Travel Labels which includes a CD.

If I have been my usual ditzy self and forgotten something super important, don't hesitate to ask. I will reply in the comments sections and send you a personal email if I have your addy.
Also, in lieu of the weekly freebie I usually post on Monday, I'm going to focus on contests and challenges for the next couple of months. I'm really excited about the "Love Me Two!" entries I've already gotten sneak peaks of and I want to keep doing that. SO more of those under-loved FrenchKissed scans will be coming to you soon .... In the meantime, enter the current "Love Me Two!" challenge (details at top of this blog) and submit your entry in the KISSED AGAIN! contest.

Oh my...you have taken on quite a task..two challenges going at the same time and 3 different categories!! I'd be procrastinating too!
Love the 3-D inspiration card.
I'm here, I'm here....you are so funny! Count me in...I need a creative challenge and I have until the end of March, woo hoo!!!
oh haha I made it difficult for you, I made a 3d card, a flat card and something in between - where are you going to put that? ;) I put it on the mail yesterday and it may take 4 - 8 days to be delivered, depending on if the customs wants to have a look at that package which is abundandly wrapped with tape... (I kind of distrust mailhandlers and rain, so wanted to have no gaps for water to go in.) Only after taping up I realized I forgot to put in a note/letter or write my name a bit more clearly. I was too busy wrapping it all up haha!
I agree with Marda by the way, it's quite a task and looks like 3 challenges and lots of great prizes!
