 A BIG "thank you" (think Eiffel Tower size Thank You:) to Sherilyn of Clear Crick Cottage for this digital gift she made just for moi! Isn't this ravissante?!!! Talk about a time machine. One look and I'm instantly transported to the opera house in Paris.....is she one of the opera divas or is she the shy beauty waiting in the balcony for a glimpse of the mustache man she loves.....

One more thing I'm eager to share: Cynthia at My Junk Inspired Life is entering the "Kissed Again" contest with her alteration of the beach gang I wrote about on Friday. DO check her blog and see what she has done. I admire Cynthia because she has the courage to cut out the distractions. Just as writers must edit and cut away the superfluous words, artists must do what's necessary to get the focus and light where they want the eye to be. Cynthia has done that. I'm working up my courage to follow suit! I am so 'taken' by the beach gang photo that I spent half my night dreaming about fixing the hat of the striped-dress lady! I dreamt of the blue sky with clouds that Cynthia added:)  I worked on tweaking the image some Saturday morning, but had to stop because of my atrophied bat wing issues. (I never thought I'd be grateful to have my flabby under-arm skin shaking like jello, but when I get the full use of my arm again, I'm going to be flapping my flab and saying Grace with gratitude!) Speaking of gratitude, merci beaucoup to those who love the beach photo as it is. I vacillated being being in love with it and thinking: Oh my, this is so flat and ugly and.....all my critical voices kept shouting in my ear. Thanks also to those of you who have also openly shared with me your battles with critical voices.

Now, I have to rush off to another torture session. My chiropractor has referred me to a physical therapist and I'm not particularly looking forward to the next hour ....BUT the good news is, I have almost all the entries in the March Love Me Two challenge ready to post. All that can be scanned in are scanned. Now, I have four entries that must be photographed. SO as soon as finish that, I'll get them all posted, if not later today, tomorrow for sure. And then we'll let the voting begin! You are going to be IMPRESSED. Petit 3-D ATCs, cabinet card size pieces, greeting cards, a clothing hanger, converted candy and cheese boxes, a clip board!!!!  Oui, oui, tres impressed:)
