Contest, Collage and a Cat, too!

Mes amies, I hope you had a rejuvenating weekend. I did!
No blue Monday for me. It was more like purple or light lavender....

I have several things to share with you but first I want to present two more entries in the Kissed Again! contest. Both of these are by Brenda Meade of Maryland.
In the 3-D category, Brenda entered this framed collage.

Click on this one to see the details!
I love the quote by Thoreau: The world is a canvas for the imagination.

And in the Flat Paper category, Brenda sent in this 2-page spread.

Click on the version below to examine it closely. As you know, I try to limit what I say
since I'm supposed to be impartial and not influence any judging :)
But I do love the multiple layers and how she built her collage, all tied together
with the bold but not overpowering pink square/floral stamp in the background.

More Kissed Again! entries will be posted all this week. And then we'll get down to the voting so the prizes can be awarded!

We had a perfect weekend with sun and blue skies. It was almost like summer. Then today we awoke to rain. Guess that's why I have April showers bring May flowers on my mind....One thing led to another and....I'm now offering this 8x10 inch collage sheet with a $25 order.

That's not your monitor, that really is a bit of scotch tape on the golden roses...and a rusty tack impression on the lilacs. I want to finish my 'stick up' series (a straight pen, a clip??) but for now I'm pairing them with one of my most popular botanical prints, Bella Donna, and some vibrant poppies. I've thrown in some French script and text, too, to fill up your page print out.
IF your order hits the $30 mark, you'll get this digi sheet and 3 more scans, $3.99 or under, at my Etsy store OR 6 more scans, $3.99 or under, at my Zibbet shop!

Now, I'd like to end with something that Marj Meikrantz shared with me that is SO cute and tres French. Being depressed has never been so funny as it is seen from the standpoint of Henri, the existential cat.

IF you fall in love with Henri like I did, be sure and check out his Facebook page and his first film, too!

I'm so glad you enjoyed that little "movie". It was just to funny, so I had to pass it on.

Henri was so funny. I watched the original on "funny or die" site and this one is even better! We need all the laughter the world has to offer. Thanks!

Oh poor Henri! He is so grand yet so tragique! Wonderful video Trishia, thanks.
