12 Days of [Early*] Christmas Gifts

Christmas in Paris
Bonjour, bonjour! Like a relative who you haven't heard from in a long time, you know I must want something?! And I do:)
IF you have a blog, would you be so kind as to share a link to this post? If you have friends who love antique images and digital scans, would you share this post? I want to spread the word about my 12 Days of [Early] Christmas Gifts!

Marketing is not my strong point, but I know this: I hate it when I learn that I missed a sale by 1 day or 3 hours. SO... I got to thinking how I could end the year with a bang, thank you at the same time for being my loyal customers AND create a sale that you have plenty of time to get in on. That's how I came up with my 12 Days of [Early] Christmas Gifts! It's a sale that lasts for 12 days (through Dec. 7) and you can jump in at any time and benefit from a variety of freebies.

Here's the deal -- Or I should say "deals" cause there's two ways to participate
No. 1 Plain and simple: Buy 12 scans, get 12 scans FREE of equal or lesser value.
AND/OR (yep, you can do both:)
No. 2 Follow me on a daily basis to see what new Gift will be posted for the day. Buy one scan and get that daily freebie.
Today's freebie (Gift No. 4) is a Paris map showing directions from a famous church to the opera house. Perfect image to turn into a Christmas gift tag. "Do you hear what I hear?" That's what I keep hearing when I look at my scan:)
I call this one my "glam" version cause I spruced it up with a swirl background pattern and added my favorite ShadowHouse Creations golden overlay. Here's the original:
At the end of 12 days, you'll have 12 freebies.
But wait, you've already missed out on GIFTS 1, 2 and 3. No problem. The sale is "progessive." And what I mean by that is that you can jump in at any time and get the freebies on a Buy 1, Get 1 basis. SO, today, if you buy 4 scans, you'll get all 4 GIFTS listed so far. Come back on the last day of the sale on Dec. 7 and buy 8 scans, you'll get all the rest of GIFTS listed.

Now, there's one more scenario I envisioned and indeed have already encountered. A customer drops in, buys a scan and doesn't really like the GIFT I've listed for that day. Can she get one of the other GIFTS instead? Of course, you know me. I'm a softie:) But you must specify when you put in your order that you'd prefer one of the previously listed GIFTS!

So, if you like surprises, if you prefer to buy one scan at a time, I hope you'll follow me on my 12 Days of [Early] Christmas. I even offer a sneak preview of the gift to come the next day:)

IF you like to pick out your own presents, then buy a bundle of 12 scans and start picking!

OH, one more thing: if you haven't visited my shop lately, please do. I've been creating in new sizes (5x7 and 5x3.5 inches for greeting cards,); I've added a few collage sheets; I've made several original designs -- like my Chistmas card at the top of this post. My learning curve in Photoshop just went up and thanks to The Painting Queen, I learned a much-needed technique on lightening, brightening images. I've also starting learning how to 'see' all over again -- too much yellow, too much red, etc. in an image. And I've decided I'm not afraid to do a little painting myself. So I've been revising and updating many scans. If it's an image you've already bought (I can check my files for you if you're not sure) I'm happy to send you the updated version for free. Here's just one example:
SO, OK, I'm busy, busy, adding new scans every day, adding a new Gift freebie for the day, adding a sneak preview for the next day. But I'm not too busy to fill orders:) So please join me in my 12 Days of [Early] Christmas Gifts sale.
The reason it's *Early is because I got my Christmas gift early this year. I will be out of town Dec. 8-15 and I won't have internet connection. I will be a Luddite for one week, a snorkeling, sun-soaking, sand-kicking Luddite!

Hey Trishia!
Wauw, I should have checked sooner again! As I kind of assumed you were only posting on facebook and I don't use that I didn't check that often. Lovely to see how you are growing as an artist! I like the christmas greeting card, and the posterthingy on facebook (about the dancing and menopause). The new colouring looks fabulous! I'll be jumping in Photoshop (elements) a bit too, as for my parent's 40th weddinganniversary I snatched a bagfull of their pitcures and am going to scan those and maybe spruce them up a bit. I think I'll use the "autocorrection"most though, since it are a lot of pictures!
Glad you didn't forget about us non-facebookers :).

(Oh and ps: the comment two posts up is spam to advertise their website!)

Oooh I feel so stupid right now... I had never subscribed to your blog as I hadn't found the subsciption button back then and assumed you needed to have a blogger account to be able to follow... Now I am a bit wiser regarding blogging, so I looked again, and voila, a "subsribe" button!
This was such a "duhhhh" moment..
Anyway, I won't miss a blogpost of you again!
